After
their first examination
at about two
and half years
old, we like to
see children
at least every
six months. Some
adults we see annually. It
is important to
see children more
often because they
are in a continuous
process of development
and we need to
monitor them closely. They
are also more prone
to decay and may
require timely
intervention.
It is particularly
important from about
six years old that
we monitor their
orthodontic development.
