"I can't say enough about my 4 dental implants, which have now been in for 2 years. My eye teeth never came through as a child so I've had a bridge of one type or another for over twenty years. These bridges led to the loss of two further teeth. I decided I wanted to replace my existing bridges with dental implants so no further damage was caused to my existing teeth. This was not quite as straight forward as its sounds as my bone had reabsorbed over the years and I needed a bone graft.

"My experience can be split into four phases.
My first phase was pre-treatment. The apprehension I had quickly dissipated because of the professional and friendly network of people involved in the practice. The consultation with Bob was very informative and thorough. Also very important I was given an agenda of treatment and timings, which also listed the costs at different stages. Therefore I was always aware of the total costs involved.
The second phase was the actual implant surgery. On arrival I was made to feel very comfortable prior to commencement. On commencement Bob carried our pre sedation checks and outlined the procedure to be carried out. I felt confident and assured in Bobs professionalism and capabilities. The procedure was carried out and was a total success.
The third stage was the aftercare relating to the treatment on the completing of the surgery. Great emphasis was taken to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. Medication was prescribed to prevent infection and to easy any discomfort. What was very important and reassuring was Bob provided his mobile phone number to enable contact after surgery hours if there were any problems.
The fourth and final stage was the remaining procedure for the abutment and bridges to be fitted. These were carried out with great care and expertise.
The final outcome was a total success with the implants in place. All I had hoped for had come to fruition and thanks to Bob and his very professional team."

“I absolutely hated wearing my denture, only putting it in if I was going out. Then having to discreetly remove it if I wanted to eat, remembering not to smile thereafter. I’d slip it into a pocket, purse, bag or in the car on the way home, then, of course, I couldn’t find it the next time I was going out! For me, implants were a must. I had no idea what was involved, expect maybe to drill into the bone. Aagh!
A friend recommended I contact Bob, and I haven’t looked back. After a thorough check up, three implants and two crowns were the order of the day, along with the odd filling or two!
Treatment started and revealed a decayed tooth had infected the bone. That had to be addressed and the healing time extended the period before the implants could be fitted. That was the worst thing – the waiting.
Not once, throughout all the treatment and I needed a lot, did I feel any pain. Once I’d had the injection, I barely felt a thing. It was pain free. The soothing music, the attentive nursing care, and most of all, Bob’s expertise saw me through. All I had to do was lie back and relax, with my mouth open.
Now I have a beautiful set of teeth with no pain or discomfort. You’d never know the implants from the real thing, and what’s more, I can smile with confidence.
