Bob
Brazenall and Simon
Martin.
We are two
highly skilled and innovative dental surgeons.
Our many years experience and continuing
post-graduate training ensure that our
techniques are always state-of-the-art and
best practice.
Dr
Karen Hanbury is our
associate and works with us providing dentistry
with an assured and gently touch.
Management
Dale is our Practice Manager and she oversees all aspects of the practice. She joined us in 2002 after ten years experience in the NHS, working in GP Surgeries and at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Dale has a good understanding of implant and general dentistry, and has travelled with Bob to many post graduate courses. She works hard behind the scenes, enabling the whole team to provide excellent care in a positive environment. She is Bob’s partner and is committed to the success of the practice.
Nurses
Our senior nurse is Nina, who will return from Maternity leave in the spring. She has worked with us for five years and is a very experienced member of the team. We really appreciate her wonderful calming influence!
Along side Nina we have Amy, who joined us four years ago as a trainee. She is now qualified and experienced in many aspects of dental nursing, and you may even see her on reception as well! Emily joined the team a year ago and has been a valuable addition to our team. Finally, Jo has been our part time trainee for the last two years. She passed her National Certificate exam in the summer of 2009 and will soon have gained enough experience to fully qualify and register with the GDC, along with all the other members of our clinical team.
Reception
Beth is probably the first face you will see when you come to the practice! She joined us in the summer of 2008 and has a wonderful way of making this important role look easy! Katie has returned from maternity leave for one day a week. We are really pleased to have her back working along side Beth and Dale as an important member of our administration team.
Last, but not least, our book-keeper, Debbie works with Dale to maintain the smooth running of the practice.
Hygienist
Also supporting us is our hygienist, Sarah Hardie. Sarah trained as a dental hygienist in the army, qualifying in 1987. After twelve years in the military, she retired from the service in 1996.
Sarah brings to Contemporary Dental experience of both NHS and Private practice, as well as her time spent working with oral surgery patients. She has a special interest in the continuing professional development of her profession, and has spent time as Chairperson of the South West Peninsular group of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
She enjoys promoting Oral Health and enabling people to achieve their oral hygiene goals, with a particular interest in the treatment of periodontal disease.
